Sage's journey in her own words:
“I ran into the team at the Made Market with my sisters. They did the tool with them and it was cool. Eventually, I was skimming through my emails and I had been considering starting something new for my shoulder pain. I genuinely loved (the) focus on everything in the body and not just "oh, you have shoulder pain."
The biggest thing is my posture. I originally came for shoulder pain because that was consuming my whole life, and obviously I knew my posture was part of that. But I found myself sitting up more and not having to lean forward as much. With that, my energy also increased, which was nice because I was able to do my daily life and daily work. I wasn't thinking about my shoulder anymore.
I started exercising more because I wasn't concerned about my body - I was getting great care here. I was able to sit for longer periods of time and do work for longer periods of time. I found myself enjoying being me for the first time in a while.
You don't know what's going on in your body if you don't ask. What you think might be normal or what you perceive as normal might not necessarily be normal for your body. Even if you think "oh, I'm fine, everything's fine," chances are there's something they can still work with and just make your life even better than it already is. Taking that first step with all the tests and all the questions - even if you don't have the right questions, they'll guide you into knowing what questions you might need to ask.”
