“Communication was probably the second thing that I noticed. He responds immediately to questions. He’s opening up to us, telling us his needs, his feelings. He starts doing things independently by himself. We don’t really have to help him do stuff. You can see a substantial change in it.”
Miles' BROTHER shares their family's journey:
“ I've noticed that he starts doing things independently by himself. We don't really have to help him do stuff anymore. He'll get himself dried off out of the shower, put his own clothes on, go to the bathroom by himself. We don't have to help him out like that - he'll do it independently.
I would say that it helps a lot. My brother - it's obviously changed how he acts and how he responds to me, my mom, and dad. I would say definitely do it. You can see a substantial change in it, so do it.”
Miles' mom shares their family's journey:
“ We were really concerned about Miles navigating the world. He's neurodivergent and it's a neurotypical world, and he just had a lot of struggles. We've tried everything, and we'd heard good things about chiropractic care. I came to the seminar and everybody here just made me feel so comfortable right away. We got started and it's been wonderful ever since.
The first thing with Miles is that he doesn't really like to go to doctors or appointments, so I was very apprehensive that this was even going to work at all. But he loved it right from the start. He loves coming every week. He's excited. Everybody here at the office has been open to his different sensory needs and they support them. It's just been great. So I guess that it actually is working is the first thing.
Communication was probably the second thing that I noticed. He responds immediately to questions now. Conversation was always difficult for him, and he's opening up to us, telling us his needs, his feelings. It's just been great.
And then from there, other sensory issues and stimming has changed. He was a big vocal stimmer and we don't see that with him now. We're really just beginning our care here, so I'm excited to see what other changes happen.
I would say do it. Start immediately. The science is there. The docs follow the science. It makes sense. It's not harmful in any way - it only helps the body communicate, and I'm seeing that every day with my son. I would say don't hesitate. It's our body and it's the way our body's supposed to work, and the doctors help make that happen.”
