part-time Marketing, Branding & Social media coordinator

 

Homestead Chiropractic is evolving! We are looking to add a part-time marketing, branding & social media coordinator to our work family! This position will give about 10-15 hours per week, with most hours in office and some hours may be flexible working remotely.

We are a mission-focused office that is centered around education on natural health principles to change the health of the Greater Quad City area! Our office is seeking an energetic, friendly, and compassionate individual to be part of our dynamic team. We see a lot of families and pediatrics, so applicants must like kids. All necessary training will be provided on the job. Our office is located in Bettendorf, IA.

Our shifts typically range Mondays 9:30am-8:30pm (varying lunch time somewhere between 1:45pm and 3pm), Tuesdays 12:00pm-7pm (one Tuesday each month begins at 11am), Wednesdays 9:45am-12:45pm & 3pm-6:00pm , and Thursdays 9:45am-7pm (varying lunch time somewhere between 1:45pm and 3pm). When interviewed for the role, we will discuss the hours and days most appropriate for in-office hours.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be a team player and enjoy working with others
-Must be comfortable in a fast pace environment - this is NOT just a desk job
-Must be outgoing and willing to communicate with our practice members & community partners daily
-Will be required to learn/memorize basic office verbiage
-Must be 18+
-Must have your own transportation to and from work
-Not a seasonal job (summer job, etc)
-Must have basic knowledge and comfort with Apple & Microsoft computers and technology - we are an electronic office
-Knowledge of Flodesk, Canva, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, G-Suite, Squarespace and Microsoft Office a huge plus
-Weekly social media engagement & post quotas
-Must be available some weekends
-Must be flexible with hours (not a 9-5, mon-fri job)
-May be required to travel with us 2x a year for a two-three day training weekend.

 

Other requirements of the position:
Office Work- Creating monthly office themes & decorations, checking & managing supplies, writing cards, organizing the office.
Practice Member Care - Educating Practice Members on Neurologically Based Chiropractic with verbiage provided by us and taking photos & videos in the office. Holding babies & loving on people!
Marketing - Social media management, Event creation & management, Managing raffle prize/silent auction donations, Creating fundraising events & management for our non-profit, Setting up Community Health Talks & Doctor Meet-up/Networking Hours, Managing Email Marketing.
Branding - Continuing to develop, grow, & promote the Homestead Brand & our mission to the community.
